Set 15 years after Breaking Dawn – Part 2, the trailer introduces Renesmee Cullen (played by rising star Mackenzie Foy, now in a lead role), who is grappling with her identity as a half-vampire, half-human hybrid. As tensions rise between vampire clans and a resurgent Volturi, Renesmee is forced to make choices that will affect not just her family — but the future of both worlds.
